Andreas Brotzer

Research areas

Andreas Brotzer’s research focus is on testing new geophysical instrumentation in glacial setting in the Cascades for a better understanding and monitoring of a changing cryosphere.  The research includes seismological and geophysical investigations of different datasets targeting topics such as glacial dynamics, water content estimations, surface mass balance.

Previous research focused six-degree-of-freedom measurements with co-located translations and rotation measurements to better characterize the local seismic wave field with single-station point measurements.
