Jessica Ghent
Jess is a 2nd year PhD student studying volcano geodesy! She returned to school as a nontraditional student in 2017, completing her A.S. in Geology at Colorado’s Front Range Community College in 2019 and her B.A. in Geology/Geophysics at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021. Jess is a 2022 NSF GRFP recipient and recently published her first paper, which highlights GPS-derived ionospheric disturbances from the January 2022 Tonga eruption/tsunami (https://doi.org/10.1029/2022GL100145).
