Research areas

I am a PhD student interested in remote sensing of glaciers and ice sheets, ice-penetrating radar, and data science for Earth science applications.

My research focuses on analyzing the seasonality of outlet glaciers in Northeast Greenland using interpretable machine learning. Additionally, I use ice-penetrating radar data, collected at Taylor Dome, Antarctica, to measure firn compaction using radar interferometry.

I received a B.A. in geology and computer science from Amherst College in 2024, where I studied the effects of persistent surface wind scour on a contiguous ice record at Dome A, Antarctica.
