Shuai Yan’s research investigates both the contemporary dynamics and the long-term evolution of the Antarctic Ice Sheet. He combines numerical modeling with airborne geophysical observations, including ice-penetrating radar, gravity, and magnetic data, to better understand how the ice sheet has changed in the past and how it may evolve in the future.
