Will Dienstfrey
Research areas
Bio: Will is a PhD student advised by Brad Lipovsky. He is currently working on several projects at the intersection of seismology and glaciology: using distributed acoustic sensing to analyze wedge stability at a tidewater glacier in Greenland, testing novel long-range offshore distributed acoustic sensing technologies, and improving seismic tomography inverse methods. Will earned a B.A. in Physics from Amherst College, completing a senior thesis modeling the effects of entrained debris in polar glaciers.
